The Dark Side of Cologne

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. (II Cor. 4:6)

Here is an interesting tidbit about Cologne, Germany. We received this on one of the prophetic mailing lists. In one of the “Combating Spiritual Strongholds” booklets, Rick Joyner believes that there is a very powerful spiritual stronghold there.

What is under Cologne cathedral?

The reason for my writing is, that I am just traveling from Switzerland to Germany, and in Cologne where I am right now, I came across several newspapers reporting from the G8 summit and the Kosovo peace talks.

The papers report:
"Aussenminister Fischer beschwur den Geist des Kölner Domes für den Kosovo-Friedenspakt !"
(The foreign minister Fischer has sworn to the spirit of the Kölner Dom to the peace-talks)

This sounds very nice, as if God's blessing has come over the Kosovo peace-talks. However, a couple of years ago, I read something very interesting and strange about the Dom (Cathedral) in Cologne, and I have read very much the same story from 3 different sources, from USA, Sweden and Germany (USA: MorningStar Ministries, Stronghold series books)

This is the story:
The birth of Jesus was the greatest thing that God has ever done to mankind. At that very time, the devil had to do something in the opposite direction: The Roman emperor Augustus gave the order to build an altar in Cologne and he ordered the roman soldiers to bring every religion on earth to be practiced at this altar in total opposition to Jesus and God. This created such an enormous occult power that even the roman empire itself broke down.

With Jesus, the power of God started to grow in the southern part of the roman empire, and at the same time the power of the devil started to grow in the northern part of the roman empire.

Several hundred years ago, the people in Cologne started to build an enormous dom (cathedral) on top of the old, occult altar. They were building for centuries, but the dom was never finished . At last, the Baumeister (Boss for the building) had to sign an agreement with the devil himself, and the dom was finished quickly thereafter. This strange agreement is well documented in the history of Cologne. (Maddy's note: There is a picture of the currency which has a man making a pact with the devil in one of the Spiritual Strongholds booklets.)

Those who have studied this subject, are concluding, that the most deadly systems that the world has ever seen (Nazism, Communism) are originating from here. (Marx lived here and published his Manifest here). And each system has caused the death of hundreds of millions of people. They have concluded that the Cathedral in Cologne could very well be the "gate to hell on earth." When this gate of hell is finally closed, there will be peace on earth.

And the analogy indicates that the most "life-bringing systems that the world has ever seen" will originate from here in the future. There will be a TOTAL forgiveness for the darkness of the past. And the shadow that still hangs over Germany due to the Nazi-time, will be totally removed when people at last see the real cause of the war in their spirits and turn their minds to Jesus.
